About The Paddock Gardens

The Paddock Gardens is a horticultural based service for people with disabilities in Macclesfield, Cheshire. It is a smallholding with an assortment of animals, including: sheep, goats and chickens. There is a large vegetable garden and glasshouse. The Paddocks staff team have a wealth of experience both in horticulture and supporting people. We are a low cost supported day service for people with disabilities.

At The Paddock

Whilst at the Paddock Garden’s people can develop practical and personal skills whilst enjoying themselves in a relaxed environment.

A range of activities are offered, these include:

  • sowing seeds
  • mucking out the chickens
  • hand rearing lambs
  • hard landscaping
  • compost area, to try out different ways of composting
  • eggs to collect daily
  • or perhaps just sitting back and enjoying the fruits of one’s labour

We are delighted to be supplying The Corner Plot, a social enterprise shop serving the local community from its premises on Park Lane, Macclesfield.
